Yes You Will Suffer

When suffering and going through trials and tribulations Do you ever feel like God is mad at you ? Do you ever feel like he sits upon the sky and looks down with his eyebrows frowned shaking his head in anger at you? Well let me tell you I sure have felt this way penalty of times in my life, but what I've learned is our suffering is not always a result of God's anger, but it's a sound confirmation of God's presence in our lives. God loves us and his thoughts are good towards us.

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

When God thinks of us, (his beautiful creation who was created in his image,) his thoughts are good, peaceful and pleasant.

In this fallen world we are going to experience pain, disappointment, frustration, toil, and heartache.
Many of the suffering we experience is simply because we are children of God.
Satan, our enemy, is angry because we have eternal life with God and he will spend eternity in hell away from God. The enemy will try his best to persuade us to follow and worship him, but when we say what Jesus said, "We Shall Worship the Lord God and Serve Him Only, he attacks us, but his attacks will never prosper.

Contrary to the popluar belife that God's people will never suffer any hardships in this world ( a doctrine that's taught by the  propsepty pulpit pump preachers) the bible cleary tells us something different,

Php 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Do you see the key indegrent in this scipture, SUFFER. Yes we are going to suffer in Christ.

Brother Paul tells us,
2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Paul even prepared brother Timothy for the coming affliction that he would experience as a believer in Christ,

1Th 3:4 For verily, when we were with you, we told you before that we should suffer tribulation; even as it came to pass, and ye know.

Jesus tell us in John 16:33,

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Suffering also draws us closer to God. It makes us dependent on the creator and not on our own abilities. We commune with God more, we pray more, we search out his word more, we learn and understand his commandments more through the holy spirit, we realize that we are nothing and can't do nothing without the loving guide of a loving God.

Many of our brothers and sisters in Christ have suffered unimaginable pain, but Christ was with them through it all just likes he is with us all today.
Our present suffering in this fallen world can not in any way be compared with what God has instore for those who love and trust him.

Last but not lease, Peter teaches us that Yet if any man suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf. 1 Peter 4:16

As we can clearly see, those who live for Christ will suffer, so the question is will you glorify God in it ?

Acts 5:40-42

They called the apostles in and had them flogged. Then they ordered them not to speak in the name of Jesus, and let them go.
41 The apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been counted worthy of suffering disgrace for the Name42 Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.
