Are All Christians Suppose to be Rich ?

Any Preacher who teaches that God wants every Christian to be rich with money or material possessions are in error. Yes, God does bless us with good things, but it's never to show off, brag about, or to try and impress people. When God blesses us, it's always to be a blessing to someone else. These ministers of Satan claim that if you are not a rich christian then you must be doing something wrong. I guess Paul, Peter and the other disciples were wrong, even Jesus, according to them, must have done something wrong, because they were not Rich, in fact, Christ was born in a barn (Luke 2:7), Paul said there were times when he was in need (Php 4:11-12), Peter was asked by a crippled man for money, but peter said "sliver and gold I do not have, (Acts 3:6). Jesus said blessed are the poor for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven (Mat 5:3). All throughout the old testament there were laws on how to treat the poor and how to help them, (Due 15:11). But these so called pastors teach that if you are poor then you are cursed by God, SMH. Thank God for Jesus Christ who through his word teaches us that contentment is godliness, for we brought nothing into this world and we can not take nothing out of it (1 Timothy 6-10). Jesus said Our life does not consist of the abundance of the things we have (Luke 12:15). So for those christians who may not live in a mansion, or drive the best of cars or have the most expensive clothing, God loves you, and you are not cursed, but you are blessed, and most importantly you have eternal life and your treasure is being stored in heaven where it will never persish !

Find me a person who is content in God, and there you will find true wealth and prosperity.

Jas 2:5  Listen, my beloved brothers, has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He has promised to those who love Him?
Jas 2:6  But you dishonored the poor one. Do not rich men oppress you and draw you before the judgment seats?
Jas 2:7  Do they not blaspheme that worthy Name by which you are called?
Jas 2:8  If you fulfill the royal Law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well.
Jas 2:9  But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin and are convicted by the Law as transgressors.
